All the kids loved the bounce house and they play marching band. Casey, her brother, baby sister, two boy cousins and 2 friends from school played different instruments and marched around the bounce house.
We opened gifts, did the pinata and had cake. We had homemade beans, rice from the packets, chips, dips, tacos/burritos from Taco Bell. Good eating!

imikimi - sharing creativity Pinata time! Everyone had a turn to hit but the only child I didn't take was Alexandria (sorry baby!). Here is a unhappy story which turned out to be happy at the end. Alexandria's turn was after Brooklynn but before Kevin's..according to age and size. Anyhow, Alexandria hit the pinata open with 3 or 4 hits.. not sure how many. The kids ran to get candies and Kevin and Casey started crying. Because Kev Kev did not get a turn so I made everyone stop and go back and let Kevin have a turn and all was fine in their world. Everyone got a fair share of candies I think. :) with parents helping too. Most of the candies went in the plants by the window so Gabriel and Stan (my brother) helped look for the candies. One thing we learned from our fist experience with pinata is not use chocolate.
imikimi - sharing creativity Casey's Tinker Bell Cake.. She loved it! She blew the candles out herself.
