DAY 216-August 4th (Thursday)

After breakfast we went swimming then had lunch & rested for a bit before going miniature golfing.  Casey didn't like the way the game was going and she had a melt down the rest of the afternoon. @@  Kaleb and daddy played catch then daddy played catch with Casey.  All 3 played catch.  Casey and Kaleb played kick ball.  While they did that, I read and wrote things down for the blog..  Kai napped for once.

DAY 215-August 3rd

We decided that we needed to do laundry so I did them while DH took the kids miniature golfing again.  We had french toast for breakfast (yum) then for lunch we had chicken top ramen with carrots and bananas.. Kai had apples.  Hung out at the camp for a while.. After having nachos for dinner, i had to go to the bathroom and while I did that, Gabe took the kids to see Rango at  the family center.  They only lasted 3 minutes ,watching it.  Kaleb said "I don't like this" & Casey said "Too Scary" then daddy said "okay, let's go".  In the morning during breakfast and hanging out at the campground, the squirrel decided to explore our campground looking for food. We had s'mores again for dessert.  Looking for a picture of the kids and daddy with s'mores.  will post it once I find it.

DAY 214-August 2nd

Tuesday we ate breakfast and my dad came by for a bit.   After breakfast, clean up the campground and went into town to get some stuff and food for the next few days.  Had Taco Bell for lunch.  Came back and hung out the rest of the day.  When we got back from our trip into town and while putting the food away, Gabriel noticed a hole in the tent, damn squirrel made the hole and get in the tent and gnawed on one of our bags and i think it did get in to some of the food. @@  We called my dad to let him know of the hole in the tent and he couldn't believe it.  We thought the food would be safe in the tent but no. So we decided to put the food in the car.  Oh and we found baby spiders on my dad's stove. Oy!   Anyhow, had kielbasa, rice/beans mixture and watermelon for dinner.  Kids had smores for dessert before bed.

DAY 213-August 1st

We had pancakes, sausages and eggs for breakfast.  Then we checked out the family center, went to the playground but kids were not impressed so went miniature golfing.  Came back for lunch.. had sandwiches.  Hung out on our campground for a little bit then went swimming. For dinner, we had hamburger helper with French green beans in it.  Yummy!
When we got back from exploring the campground and played miniature golf, we saw the squirrel on our bag of food.  He got a hold of the mashmellows, pretzels and the bread.

DAY 212-July 31st

Sunday we decided not to go to church since we still had work to do before leaving on the camping trip.  I organized everything in the car and barely fit everything in.Started at 2pm to pack the car and took me about 2 hours to get everything to fit in the damn car (Honda Accord LX)  Ugh.  His dad just told us that we better be gone. Well, it would be nice to borrow the damn van but trust issues between both of us.  Gabe did drive that van before so whatever.  It would be thousands time better to take the van but mother in law said no even won't let us take the pop up. @@ WHATEVER!
  My dad met up with us up at the campground since he is a member up there.  My dad loaned us the camp stove, the tent, a kid's sleeping bag and 2 air mattresses, broom and few other stuff.   My poor kids were cramped in the car but they wanted to go.  We almost didn't go because we didn't think we can fit all the stuff in.  Finally left at 4pm.. took us an hour to get up there to Lytle Creek(Mountain Lake) and no traffic.   While my dad and my hubby set up the tent, the kids snacked on chips and dip (pretty much ate all the dip) and then for dinner had hot dogs and pork n beans. :)

DAY 211-July 30th

I did some stuff around the house and packed most of the stuff for the camping trip. Saturday night was my reunion at Selaco.
We had the reunion at Downey high school and had fun.  I went at 5ish to pick up my ticket and didn't return until 7pm.  It was so hot in the gym but I had fun and went to DNO (deaf night out) with my friends and didn't get home until 2 in the morning.
One of the Selaco teachers was retiring this year and there were performances of signing songs and magic shows.
I got to see a lot of my friends that I haven't seen in ages.  Pictures taken with two of my friends and one by myself were done by a professional photographer and it was free.  I couldn't take much pictures inside because of the flash on my camera.

Here is my Oy moment during dinner with my kids.  I had gotten dressed and went to pick up my ticket.. Came back and had dinner with my family.  My youngest daughter, Kai, was done and brought her plate to me with messy hands and got on my nice khaki pants.  So I had to change again so I wore white pants and black top.  I did have some pictures taken with a few other friends.. going to see if I can include those in here.  Had one more picture but now i can't find it.

DAY 210-July 29th

no pictures, no stories or don't remember what I did on this day.  All I know it is Friday and we need to get things ready for camping.  Leaving Sunday afternoon.  ``Oh and I had my hubby put our frame from our wedding  either the day before or sometimes this week. . I will post a picture of that frame. I put the picture collage and pink papers in and had people at the wedding and reception sign the poster board around the picture.  I liked this idea instead of signing a book. :) Our saying as a couple was Together Through Everything.  We wanted it on our collage picture but it was too long.

DAY 209-July 28th

We went to a different park for the concert n the park and listened to Country Music by I See Hawks in L.A.  My hometown gives concerts at 2 different parks on two different days.  We usually go on Monday nights but since we didn't go this past Monday, we came tonight. .  Anyhow, I got a big candy apple and shared it with Gabe and the 2 older two.  Kai was already asleep by the time I returned with it.  Kids had fun, playing on the playground.

DAY 208-July 27th

Wednesday we had a playdate wih one of casey's school mates.  Her mom and Alexandria met up with us at the same park we met up with Casey's good friend Cheyenne the week before. :)

DAY 207-July 26th

Been trying to clean up this house and get ready for the camping trip.  No pictures for this day.  No idea what to do for a fun scrap so be back for this one later.. keep an eye out.

DAY 206-July 25th

I woke up about 5 am to check on the kids and go to the bathroom.. the older two were still in the same position from last night.  Here are a couple of picutres of them.

We left about 1ish to go out to eat and then to Target and Wal mart to get camping stuff and was hoping to get some school stuff.  The older two got sleeping bags... Tinkerbell and Cars :) They slept in their sleeping bags and I tried to take pictures but it was too dark to edit it..

Later on that day, the girls (don't remember where Kaleb was at that time) came in the kitchen to eat dinner and hang out with Chloe. :D

DAY 205-July 24th

Sunday morning we went to church to worship God. :)  The kids went to their Sunday School classes.

DAY 204-July 23rd

Saturday afternoon we went to meet up with Marcella and her 2 kids for a play date.  It was at the last minute but it was fine..  we went to a park that  had a wading pool and kids loved it.  After playing in there for a while, they played on the playground.  I took a group picture of the 5 kids today and I will put up an old photo of them a year ago.

the difference in both pictures is in the first one (June 8, 2010) Shannon was in the picture and the baby boy, Mathias, wasn't (he was a month old and couldn't sit up by himself but i could have put the car seat with them @@ now that I think about it.
The second picture is that Shannon is not in it and Mathias is (now about 14 months old).

DAY 203-July 22nd

Play date with one of Casey's friends from school.  We walked down to 4 or 5 blocks to pick her up then walked the Greenway Trail to the park. :)  Kids played a good 2 hours and Gabe walked home to get the car.. I didn't want to walk back..  picked up my girls and Casey's friend, took her home and came back for me and Kaleb.
Then Casey reminded us about the library so off we go  to the library to turn in books and check out more books.

imikimi - sharing creativity  Casey and Cheyenne with their classmate, Ebony.  They were all in the same Kinder class and I don't know if they all will be in the same 1st grade class in the Fall. We saw Ebony, her mother and her little brother at the park.  Her brother is starting Kinder just like Kaleb. :)

DAY 202-July 21st

I worked on the kids' room to move things around, vacuum and organize all their toys.. we didn't give away much. :/  Oh well but they do play with most of those toys.

The kids in Angels shirts.  They slept in them that night. :)  We are all Angels' and Dodgers' fans.
