DAY 226-August 14th

We did not go to church since we were going to the Dodger's game.  We packed our bag filled with food, change of clothes and drinks.  Everyone except Gabriel wore Dodger's shirts and hats but Gabe did wear a Dodger hat.
After the game, the kids ran the bases but Kai fell asleep while waiting in line.   Oh and the older two got free backpacks.  Dodgers won! Yay!
On the way to our car, a security guard, driving a electric car, saw us and asked us where our car was.  He took me and Kaleb first to our car  then he went back to get the girls and Gabe.   I took a picture of them in the electric car with the guard.  We thanked him for the ride to our car. :)

DAY 225-August 13th

Gabe went to the Dodger's stadium to get  tickets for the game Sunday.  Gabriel won those tickets along with a couple of other stuff in a raffle for Father's Day at Casey' school.  It was awesome!

Gabe texted me this picture to let me know that we got the tickets for tomorrow's  game! :)

DAY 224-August 12th

Friday morning, Casey got ready by 11ish to wait for her best friend and her mom to come pick her up.  Gabe had to install her highback booster in so she can ride safetly.  The girls went to Chuck E. Cheese for a couple of hours.   The younger kids and Gabe and I hung out at home. :)

DAY 223-August 11th

Kaleb went to school but cried.  One of the boys in the class tried to say hi Kaleb to him but Kaleb was crying. Anyhow,   I asked him to show me his table and he said "come on, mama" and I went with him to see his table and stuff.  He sat down and started practicing writing his name.  I told him I  am going to go and  I will see you later then gave him a kiss... he was fine after that.

DAY 222-August 10th

Kaleb went back to school, feeling fine.  Daddy and the 2 K's took me and Casey to a park on the other side of town for a reading party.  When Casey and I were done, I texted Gabe to have him come pick us up.  While I was figuring out what Gabe was saying, Kaleb boy threw up.  Oh fun!  Casey had a lot of fun at the reading party that was geared toward 1st grade to i think 6th grade.. Not sure.. anyhow, here are the pictures from Casey's fun!  Oh we made necklaces.. Casey made one for herself and I made one for her best friend, Brooklynn.

DAY 221-August 9th

Last night Kaleb wasn't feel quite well but he was fine this morning when we took him and he had an accident at school an hour later..  daddy went to take a change of clothes for him but ended up bringing him home.  He napped on and off all day and was fine for several hours until he threw up lunch and dinner before bed..

DAY 220-August 8th

Kaleb has Kinder orientation this week and next week but he is off Fridays.  He went and was fine when I left him.   He has been looking forward to this all summer. :)  he just had to go 3 hours a day for two weeks then be off for a week and a half.

DAY 219-August 7th

Today is our last day here.  What a great week to get away from everyone..  it was a much needed vacation for the family of 5.  We stayed until 5 pm since we had to wait for my dad and step mom to get off from work and come up to get their supplies and a few things they will hold for us.  They gave us the kid's sleeping bag to give to Kai. (we were going to buy her one) but they are holding it for us since we have no more room when we packed up the car.  Kai loved the sleeping bag! :)  Had no problem sleeping in it.
While waiting for my dad to come up and we pretty much packed the car, we took one last ride on the paddle boats. And one last round of miniature golf.  It took us all day on and off to pack the car.. we had to repack the car 3 or 4 times to make everything fit.. ugh!  I had a cute video but I guess I didn't download it correctly and deleted it. @@

DAY 218-August 6th

Today we  hung out a little bit on at our space and the kids played with the girls next door who were about my kids  ages.. one was 6 months younger than Kai and the older girls were older than Casey i think.  or maybe one was the same age as Casey.
We went on the paddle boats. :) After we got off, we decided to hang around and watch the water fight that we are glad to not to be involved in.  A little while later, Gabriel went to get buy the funnel cake that the 5 of us shared. :)
After dinner, we went to the family center to watch Rio.. Kaleb did not really like it, Casey did. Kai fell asleep as soon as I sat down. :)

DAY 217-August 5th

On this Friday, we went into town to go shopping and then it was almost lunch time and Gabe asked the cashier where the nearest park was.. We ended going to a park near my dad's house.  We ate lunch and played for an hour and a half.. maybe 2 hours.   Then we decided to go to my dad's house to say hi to my step mom and hung out there for a good 3 hours.   We headed back to camp about 6ish.. usually takes about 15 minutes but ended up a little bit longer.  And all 3 fell asleep.  Dinner was hamburgers, chili beans and yucky mac n cheese.  Never put soy milk in the mac.  Unless you have a better idea for Kai.. she can't have dairy.
