DAY 256-December 22nd

Okay I want to talk about 2 things today..  first of all don't ask. well, we did go christmas shopping.. And got the kids'  gifts and did good.  Anyhow, wrapped gifts for Jamie, Lovely and Issabella since we were going to see them the next day. Okay on to the story....

.the story of Hoppy...  December 11th we realized that we haven't seen hoppy in days. so we all looked all over the place for him.   Kaleb was heartbroken.   So Gabe asked me if I knew where Jamie and her mom bought Hoppy at and I said Wal greens so he said he eill go and look there to see if there was another one like Hoppy.  He found one but not like hoppy and texted me a picture of it and I said.. well, let's think about it..  He came home and we checked on line.. and decided to order a duplicate one like Hoppy and bought it.   Well, the next day I was cleaning up the kids' room and was putting away blocks in a blue basket.  I decided to dig deeper in there and behold who do I find... HOPPY!   So Kaleb has 2 identical frogs.. one named Hoppy and he named his other one after his  big sister. :)  don't ask me why.....  We were going to put up the new up as a backup but both are on his bed.     here is a picture of the stuffed animal..  not Kaleb's but got it off the internet.. :) 






Here are 2 picture frames of my kids given to us for Christmas.. Kids made them and Casey wrote a letter. :)

DAY 255-December 21st

What I did today is a mystery because I don't remember but I do remember being on the computer and helping my friend Kirsten with Imkimi.. she was having trouble with it so I did 2 scraps for her. :)  I just put the picture in and change the date.   those are of my friend's boys..  the baby was 3 months old and his brother is 6 1/2 years old like Casey.   Casey met the older boy at Disneyland when they were 4 1/2 years old (is that right, Kirsten?)   Anyhow, love the scraps!  I used it for one of my pictures on the December 9th blog.   Only reason why  is that I am behind in my blogging so I was able to use it for that day and catch up to January 7th  to blog these.   I was hoping to be done by Christmas for this blog but it is okay.. I have 10 more blogs to finish 2011 blog.

DAY 254-December 20th

I don't remember what we did today but here is a scrap of pictures my mother in law took on December 18th. :)  Oh yeah GG comes home today so Gabe has to go pick her up at 10 pm at the Ontario airport. 

DAY 253-December 19th

Kairi ate something chocolate but can't remember what it was.  Either a cupcake or a cookie....  hmmm...

DAY 252-December 18th

We did not go to church due to me not feeling good.  Here are 2 pictures my mom took and my mother in law took 2 as well. :)   Done with my scrapbook Factory Deluxe CD

DAY 251-December 17th

first day of their Winter break!  Here is a few pictures of the kids and the gifts they opened from Great Grandma and Great Grandpa F (Gabriel's father's parents)  got that? LOL  they all got the same thing.. clear train ornaments.

DAY 250-December 16th

Casey's and Kaleb's last day at school before the Winter break and they get out early.  Gabriel, Kairi and I went to the PTA room to count box tops.  A classroom won (not telling right now) for the most box tops and they get ice cream.     Kairi did pretty good while we counted.   Two moms, myself and Gabriel chatted and then one mom had to leave. Went home for a bit and then Gabe brought me back, along with Capri Suns. 

Casey had a party in the afternoon and I stayed to help out.   Kids did art work and stuff and had some pizza and stuff but took some sweets home.   I got a gift from Ms. Powell (gift card from Starbucks and small box of See's candies) and a cute card. :)

DAY 249-December 15th

Got up and got the kids dressed in their best for their Christmas program.   After the 1st graders were done, Gabriel took my mom and Kairi home but Marci, Jamie's mom, needed to go get the cookies so she said she will take them home and Gabe had to go with them because the baby didn't want to leave without daddy.  Marci and Gabriel came back with cookies for Kaleb's party.   Before going to help with the kindergarteners party, I had Casey change into her school outfit so she doesn't get her dress dirty.   Kaleb's teacher treated her kids to McDonald's. :)

After helping out with Kaleb's party, we stopped in the PTA room and talked to Teresa and other mom.  She was sad to learn that we may have to move away from the only school that kids knows if we can't find a place to live near the school. :(  It was bad enough that we lost a mom who was on the PTA board (can't remember what she did) and Ana, the treasurer will be leaving the end of the year since her son will be going to junior high in Fall of 2012.   I noticed the perfect attendance certificates and Teresa said that Ms. Powell's class got theirs already.  so went over to take some pictures with teacher's permission. :)  then after Teresa and the other mom  were done eating, we went over to Kaleb's class to give out the perfect attendance certificates.   took some pictures while Gabriel did some xeroxing for Teresa.  We talked to her for a minute and she asked if we don't mind helping counting top boxes tomorrow and we said no problem, we can do it.. just have to bring Kai and she said it's okay.

The kids, along with Lovely, came to our house to do homework and the older girls had girl scouts. We had hamburger helper and Gabe took Lovely home as soon as she was done with her homework.

imikimi - sharing creativity Kaleb's classmates who got perfect attendance! I tried to take individual pictures of each but don't think i got everyone. there was i think 16 to 18 who got them. Congrats to everyone at school who got perfect attendance for the first quarter! they also got pencils and a necklace that said perfect attendance (look below).

DAY 248-December 14th

Took the kids to school and I helped out in reading and math classes and went home about 10ish or so.  Gabriel and  I think Kai went to the airport to pick up my mom.   Then they got back in time for Gabe and me to go pick up Casey and Kaleb. :)  Gene and Mary came over for dinner and gave us some pictures he created.  the last video was when we picked the children up from school and Kai had a toy microphone and was talking.   She is talking more and more everyday.   The black and white picture was taken by me and the rest was taken by Mary.  The video of Kaleb and me reading was filmed by Mary with her phone.

DAY 247-December 13th

Gabriel and I had a housing appt and after dropping the older two off at school (Ms. Huerta knew that I would not be there to help out) and dropped Kairi Boo at Jamie's.   The appointment took all of 2 hours.  Kids get out at the regular time since they get out early on Friday.  They start their Winter break after 1:15pm on Friday.   Oh there is a video that I forgot to post on December 9th.. it is on that blog now. :)  Anyhow, went to Jamie's to pick up Kai and jamie needed Gabe to fix some stuff for her before we left.   Got Kaleb's Santa picture and grades..  Wasn't happy with the grading for Kaleb..expected it to be a little higher or better..  and the teacher told us to  fight for speech for Kaleb.

DAY 246-December 12th

School for the kids and report cards comes in. :)  volunteering in Ms. Powell's and Ms. Perez's classes--reading groups and math.   Kids played with daddy before dinner.  If you can't see Kaleb, it is because daddy is sitting on him or he is hiding under the pillows. :D  Oh and Gabe took GG to the airport to fly to Vegas to stay with her son for a week.   Oh. only Casey got hers and her santa picture.   Kaleb's will come in tomorrow.    Casey did great on her report card.. she got mostly 3's and 4's and all E except for one S in effort for writing.
