DAY 42
Ugh forgot to post yesterday's blog.. Anyhow, didn't do much.. Casey had the day off and we hung out at home.. kids were still coughing especially Kai and me (okay I am not a kid but you get the idea). The only one that was not sick the last few weeks was Gabriel.

DAY 41
Headache went away finally this morning. Casey went to school and I only had Kai for the day. Gabriel and I had fun playing with her and she took her nap about 1ish.
Daddy went to pick up Casey at 2:15 pm and came home with two notes from the teacher. One was about the Valentine's Day party and I will go in and help on Monday. :) and her 100th day is on February 23rd. It is an optional project and I am pretty sure that Casey and I will do it. I will be helping her. The details of the project is decorate the paper by drawing the number 100 on it and then decorate, draw or glue 100 items on it. Casey wants to do 100 hearts so I will go to Michael's to look for ready made heart but not sure what I am looking for yet. :) And let Casey do the gluing.
Oh Casey told us that the teacher was talking about Abraham Lincoln and she brought up that she knows that Abraham chopped down the cherry tree. She was the only child in her class to get blue card(this means great). Casey will get either blue or green (means good). She was never on yellow (warning) or red (note send home). I know she will end up on those at home. Go figure! LOL Anyhow, either GG or I read her a story about Abraham a few weeks ago and I think she remembered about that. I thought half the time she was not listening while we read but I guess she was. :)
Anyhow, had Casey rest while Kai was still napping. Here is the result of her rest time (look at the scrap). Pretending to go camping. :)
Kaleb was going to stay another night at my mom's but mom called about 830ish that Kaleb was complaining of his knees hurting him so Gabe took the children's tyenol over to my mom's to give it to him.. meanwhile my mom rubbed some muscle rub on his knees and it was much better but he wanted mama so he came home.

DAY 40
I only had 2 girls at home tonight. We went to the PTA meeting and Casey went to another room where there were baby sitters to watch the kids while parents went to the meeting. Kai didn't want to go with big sissy. She went with me and daddy to the meeting and promptly fell asleep within 5 minutes of getting there. Kaleb is having an overnight sleepover with Noni (my mom) for a late birthday outing the next day (museum and lunch).
Oh here is my weigh in for this week: 170.5.

DAY 37
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!
We hung out at home.. didn't go to church since the children were all coughing. Daddy went to the market to get some food to snack on during the football game. We had guacolmole, green onion dip, bean dip, homemade pizza (1/3 of the pizza didn't have cheese so Kai can have some too), hot dogs, 3 kinds of chips.. we were going to put in some Banquet chicken in too but didn't so will have that for dinner tomorrow night.
Daddy watched the game and the commericals (I was able to catch some of it). One of the commericals I liked was with the little Darth Vadar. Anyhow I was mostly on the computer, playing games on Facebook and the kids were playing inside and outside. Kai took an earlier nap and Kaleb boy fell asleep on sissy's bed and took an hour nap(about 4 to 5 pm). Oh and I did 5 loads of laundry (still working on #4 and #5 loads).

DAY 36
Everyone took a nap except for Gabe and Casey (but she did rest). After everyone got ready, we went to Target to get vitamins for the kids, look at the sales rack (only casey got pajamas for about 5 bucks), Tinkerbell underwear for Kai, Valentine's cards for Casey's class, heart rings for the girls in her class and the pencils were with the cards for the boys, mailbox for Casey for her valentines (Kaleb wanted one but told him next year when he goes to school) and paper plates. I think that's it. When Casey and I get done decorating her mail box, I will post it. No pictures today.

DAY 35
No pictures from today or stuff that were done--pretty boring stuff.. anyhow, here are 3 scraps I am doing for fun. :) Enjoy!

She will be 6 (oh my gosh) in April of this year. We have always given her parties every year and we take her out on her actual birthday every year too. We do the same for her little brother and little sister. :)

DAY 34
I am on day 3 with this freaking headache but now it is on one side and dull pain. blah! Gabriel, Kaleb (who threw a fit), Kai and I went to Walmart.. we need some stuff.--laundry soap, shampoo/conditioner for me, socks for me, pants for me ($3), 2 scrap booking stickers ($1 ea), overnighters for Kai (won't wear pull ups during the day anymore.. it has to be underwear), flushable wipes for the younger two, wipes and a box of Kleenex.
Had lunch at Carl's Jr/Green Burrito and then wanted to go to Target but didn't have time because we needed to go pick up Casey from school and we were late. Casey was the last child there with 2 teachers. Oops! But her teacher said that she was waiting patiently. :)
For dinner everyone had TV dinners--Casey tried fish sticks ( didn't like it) Banquet brand, Kaleb had kid cuisine mac and cheese, Kai had Banquet Salisbury steak, I had smart ones chicken enchiladas suiza and Gabe had Marie Calender's fettuccine with garlic bread and he put peas in it.
We were all eating and Kairi came to me with messy hands.. looked like gravy on her hands and cleaned her up.. went back to eating and came back to me the 2nd time and while cleaning her hands I noticed her hands had rash on them with white bumps. anyhow, i called to Gabe and we are now figuring out what the heck she got into that made her hands have rash all over. We thought she may have gotten into her siblings food but the older two said no.. so dunno. ::sigh:::

DAY 33
The kids are feeling better today but on the other hand, I have a freaking headache (major one). Daddy went out to get McDonald's for Casey for lunch at school for getting the Student of the Month. Kaleb, Kai and I slept on my bed for nap time and Casey came home at about 2:30 and joined us fo naptime. She was much better when daddy helped her with her homework. Oh and my weight for from this morning is 171.4. Gained 3 ozs but that's not bad. I need to get back to walking Casey to school, hopefully I will be better tomorrow to take her.

DAY 32
OM Gosh, my allergies are kicking me in the azz. Kaleb had a slight fever but he woke up early this morning saying that he hurts (groin area), Casey went to school with a little of runny nose but she is okay and lastly Kai is potty learning. She knows how to pee in the toilet but not poop :::sigh:::. Anyhow, here are a few pictures and a video.
Oh I forgot to do my weigh in this morning so I will do it tomorrow. Gabe let me sleep in with Kairi on Casey's bed. I was not comfortable in bed with 3 kids and a hubby sharing a full size futon. He took care of Casey and got her to school on time. Yay daddy! I woke up feeling like yuck!

DAY 31
imikimi - sharing creativity This morning!! Kai is wearing hand me downs Elmo pajamas top. I still need to find the matching pants to it.. i think Kaleb still has it.
Anyhow, not much to talk about but Gabe, myself and the younger two went to C's school to watch the assembly on the Kindergarten playground.
imikimi - sharing creativityThis is Casey's 2nd time getting Student of the Month. :) And I think they said that she is the only kid in Kinder that got Student of the Month twice. WTG, Casey girl!

Gabriel called my mom to let her know that we will msot likely not go to church or her house afterwards. Casey was sick with a cold and a cough. And we wanted to have rest time today and tomorrow so she can feel better for school on Monday.

imikimi - sharing creativity those are the potato head stuff.. it was supposed to put them on pumpkins. My dad and step mom got those for the kids. Casey put the earrings on Kai and I took a picture then Kai put the mouth in and i had to take one.. well, Gabe took that one. :)

Weight-in day...... 171.1
After I took a shower, i went to lie down and fell asleep.. slept on and off for 2 hours. Half way thru my nap, daddy put pull ups on Kai and brought her to me and she lie down and nursed herself to sleep. :)

DAY 24
Not much today.. I walked Casey to school and made it just as the warning bell went off. we were greeted by her bestie and her mom and walked a few steps to the gate to let the girls go to the line with their class. Casey was the only one on blue today since she was the only one that sit still and not run around in class and she was allowed to play in the play kitchen with the new girl, Paris. (she arrived to the new school/class about a week ago).
oh and she was send home a flyer about a yearbook from school.. 15 bucks.. i think we are going to let her get one. due in March so have some time to save money for her. yeah wait until next year when I have two in school. :D

DAY 23
The family went to church and the littles went to their respective Sunday school classes. Kairi is doing much better.. she doesn't cry anymore and knows mommy and daddy are coming back to her and she knows the caregivers in that room. One of her caregivers said that Kairi will be moving to the 2 years old room in a few weeks. She turns 2 in March. Yikes!
Gabriel and I listened to the 2nd part to the Less Stress series. And sang songs. :) My mom would have come but she was sick the last few days. She said that she is feeling much better.
When we went to get the kids, Kairi ran to us as soon as she saw us. She was standing in the middle of the room, looking around. :) I am so glad that she is doing much better--not crying when we leave her. As for the older two, went to get Kaleb and he ran off to get sissy so they both can go out to the tent to get donuts. Gathered up their papers that the kids did in their classes, and got Casey.. one of her teachers told us that she knew 5 verses with a little help and got 5 stickers. I gave Casey a high five and said good job.
